In this session, Robert will introduce some non-traditional exercises designed specifically to assist your clients in "breaking through" movement patterns due to their physical limitations. We can't train "around" their limitations, we need to learn to train "with" their limitations. Robert will show you what exercises to implement, how to implement them, and why you should be implementing them with your clients.
- Learn five movement components that address improving movement patterns for those with physical limitations.
- Discover non-traditional resistance training techniques that allow clients with physical limitations the ability to perform without pain and that have a direct impact on their daily life (functional) movement patterns.
- Discuss resistance training techniques to implement with clients who have osteoporosis, arthritis, and/or some of the other more common physical limitations like shoulder and hip impingements, lower back pain, and more.
